Phalaenopsis

I was told that these thrive on neglect but clearly not quite as much neglect as I gave it, as it has been short of flowers for quite a while. However, after a small amount of TLC it put out a flower spike and the first bloom opened today.

Visitor has arrived today for Christmas so the festivities have now officially started in this household!
