Every year between 18 and 24 december radio station 3FM has a special fundraiser called 'Serious Request' to draw attention for a serious humanitarian issue.

Three DJ's get locked up in a glass house located on a mayor city square somewhere in Holland and this year it's in Heerlen.

They make non stop radio and everybody who wants to see them do it can visit the glass house, but they can also make live donations for which they enjoy their moment of fame in front of this microphone just outside.

The current score is 5.5 million euro's and counting, but it's not the 24th yet.
