Wise flowers

Not much flowering in the garden now, though Rhododendron 'Nobleanum' is doing its stuff and will make a good Christmas Day Blip. Today I've chosen one of the tender sages - though what I was thinking was Salvia coccinea is probably Salvia elegans, the Pineapple sage. I'll sniff the foliage tomorrow, but I m not going down to the glasshouse again now!
