Contre-jour!

They say never shoot into the sun but who cares, take pictures how you like!

Christmas Eve is an annual pilgrimage to deliver presents to my dad's family in Northamptonshire, he's one of eight so there's plenty of them, and the majority have stayed in the area. We also pop to the churchyard in Guilsborough where other family members are buried. It's always pretty draughty there and the weather didn't disappoint us today either. That's my dad in the pic looking rather windswept.

However, you'll also see in the extra picture how mild it's been too, daffs in December no less! The other extra picture is of my grandparents grave, Beatrice and Bertram, Granny Beattie and Pappy Bert.
