Oldgroaners Phone&Compact

To proudly go where few Compact cameras can

Here is a handheld shot of the moon taken at the maximum zoom of the TZ70, which is the the equivalent of  720mm telephoto on a 35mm camera. The exposure  was 1/125th sec @f 6.4 and the film speed 320 ASA.
And this camera was under £200 pounds to buy.
In a very few years we have come so far with these digital cameras, and each new model seems to be even more amazing that the last, a long long way from my first camera in 1953, a Kodak box Brownie that took eight 3 and a half by 2 and a half images on a 620 roll film.
Merry Christmas to you all!
