Wound up in Wexford

Essaouira still

A lovely day for our first full day in Morocco.  Started with a late, leisurely breakfast on the rooftop of our Riad, where the main problem was to defend your food from the gulls.  I took this photo of the beach from up there.

Then a meander around the Medina, visiting the markets, and the port.  Back to the hotel for a brief siesta, and in the afternoon, we walked to the far end of the beach in this picture.  We admired the surfers, and dodged the kites of those learning to control them whilst still on the beach.  At the far end were camels and horses - we resisted attempts to get us on to a camel!

Coming back to the city, the evening sun was glorious.  Spoilt for choice as to what to blip, those who know me on Facebook will be able to see the rest in due course.
