I was pestered to death for at least 2 years to get some hens, take a bow girls....

They are noisy, mucky and more work than we'd expected, however they do have their good points, they lay an egg most days, they eat all the slugs and snails and all the weeds, though they do have difficulty in differentiating between Lilies and Dandelions
