Twas the night before Christmas....

And inside our house, Thea is thinking about catching a mouse!

Our house is full of Christmas cheer as we have got everything we need and will not be leaving the house until Boxing Day now. However the smallest, furriest member of the house doesn't seem to have quite grasped the meaning of festive spirit.

After being moved from the kitchen worktops, the top of the fish tank and my husband's laptop, she sought refuge under the coffee table on top of a pile of presents. The look she's giving me clearly says 'Bah Humbug'. Am hoping that when she sees her Christmas stocking and electronic mouse chase toy from Santa Paws tomorrow morning, she'll perk up a bit. Having said that she's currently watching a film on the tablet with Alex and looks quite engrossed so has cheered up a bit since this photo was taken earlier.

Well that's us done now after watching 'santa' fly across the sky and having a drive round to look at some of the amazing Christmas lights locally this year. The reindeer food is outside and the smallest pickle is bathed and in her new Christmas pyjamas ready for a book before bed. All that's left to do is bid a final farewell to our elf, Tinsel, who will be heading back to the North Pole with Santa later tonight when he arrives to deliver the presents, make sure the stockings are out and ready and leave a mince pie, carrot and some milk for Santa and Rudolph.

Merry Christmas Eve fellow blippers. Have a blessed and happy day tomorrow.
