We now know the floods in Cumbria and North Lancashire are very bad.

The fate of Carlisle is similar to 2005 when this photo was taken and put onto mugs.

Social media is much more prevalent than 10 years ago so the effects are being seen much sooner.

It does get help the victims though and my prayers go out to them all.
