A Merry Christmas everyone

This is a photo originally taken by my sister Paula a couple of years ago when the snow was  lovely and deep. I retook a photo of the photo to say I had taken it sort of. It's of Templenewsham House Nr Leeds. It was a perfect Winter Day sun shining and everyone out for a walk. We used it as a Christmas Card that year.

But whilst we are all enjoying our Christmas festivities  lets stop and think about all those poor folk who are not having a nice Christmas.  The homeless who will be spending cold nights huddled in cardboard boxes, quite a lot of these people have fallen on hard times and are not just vagrants, can we think about all those poor people up in Cumbria who have been flooded out, what a rotten Christmas they are having, and those who are refugees all over the world who have lost their homes, those people who have lost loved ones and missing them at Christmas. Lets be thankful for what we have got,  and if you feel you want to help the homeless who are out on the streets, go have a word with your local refuge or the Salvation Army who do sterling work at this time of year, I am sure they will be grateful of your help. I know there are those of you who have been collecting for the food banks, thats lovely and those who have donated toys for underprivileged children, great and good on you all.
Have a lovely time and God Bless.
