No let up

I travelled to Ambleside this morning to measure a race.

The drive up was lovely.
Dry and bright.

The measurement was as wet as anything I've ever measured!

The 90 minute drive to the measurement turned into a 180 minute drive home as every mile or so along the A591 had a flood like this.

"Dear Lord, please make the rain stop and never come back like this so the people of Cumbria can recover".
