Hopeton01 - Lion

While shopping in Market Harbourough, Leicester, I spotted this feline face gazing out of the shop window. It was an art & craft shop displaying several animal faces skilfully fashioned from various media.  It's an impressive piece of work, reminding me of Aslan, the lion in CS Lewis'  children's classic 'The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe'.

He is a favourite Christian author of mine - he has an enviable ability to present profound theological ideas in ways that children and adults alike can easily enjoy. A true master of his craft.
