Brighter than the moon

Another tradition this time of year is the annual Christmas light hunt. There doesn't seem to be as many excessively illuminated houses this year. We visited the usual Brailsford lights which raises money for the Wallace and Gromit appeal. (See extra photo)

This year though I personally preferred this offering in Almondsbury on the outskirts of Bristol. The rain was hammering down but it did make for interesting reflections on the path.

Work was a bit crazy this morning for all of us. I was in Cardiff city centre for 9am and unfortunately missed Christmas Eve drinks at the Grews. Jules went though and I was all finished by twoish.

Nick popped round for a beer or two.

Presents all spread out under the tree.

A very excited 11 year old fast asleep.

And two content parents looking forward to a lie in!

No chance of that....
