Christmas Eve - Carols from King's

On Christmas Eve, I first listen to the service from King's College, Cambridge at 3 pm on BBC Radio 4, whilst preparing the traditional mushroom soup, ham and other delicious treats.

Then, at 5.15 pm, I pour a sherry and watch it on TV.  Superb singing and intricate harmonies as ever.

#2 and Ch were on the last train to Scotland out of London Euston. Delayed an hour, but finally they've made it home for Christmas.  This is the first time I've seen them since the wedding in September.  Just lovely to have them here.  #1 and S are enjoying the warmth of Houston, Texas.  25C there today, whilst we enduring hailstorms, rain and high winds.

Wishing you all a very Happy and Peaceful Christmas.
