Bumble in the Iris

Hello Blipfoto - I've been away and have some serious backfilling to do in my journal. Must Try Harder.

A wander in the Botanics on my lunch break midweek found all the plants buzzing with life. Big, fluffy bumble bees and a few of their cousins were delving into all the most intimate parts of all the flowers on display for some (delicious?) pollen. Here's one guy caught in the act.
