Weekend away in Newcastle, tonight went to Whitley Bay to see Elkie Brooks in concert. Use to like her in my younger days, lost touch over a number of years great to see her back on stage turning out a great performance at sixty seven. Her back up band were superb, with the sax player outstanding.
