LIKE SPRING

The weather today looks and feels like springtime.
So we went for our walk in the morning, feeling suspicious that it could suddenly change, but it didn't.
We drove to Helmarshausen, and from there we walked around the Mittelberg, a lovely countryside that vaguely let us think of Toscane.
A view of it I show above.
After lunch I sat on the balcony, enjoying the sun and light, read in my book on Christmas and fell asleep not much later.
We spoke on the phone with my sister, exchanging little bits of news of our days.

My haiku:

Do you see the apples
Still hanging on the branches?
And there pink blossom?

And the proverb:

To warm (rejoice) the cockles of the heart.
