Conditions on the inside had improved somewhat compared to yesterday, but the weather had definitely deteriorated; we must have been experiencing the edge of the rainstorm that has caused more flood devastation in parts of Lancashire and W. Yorkshire today. I spent a fair amount of time on the jigsaw - very enjoyable in a challenging sort of way. So many beetles!

I scuttled out to the recycling bins as the light was fading and thought it a very fine thing that this beautiful old building is once again being used as a family home.
