Lichen Branch

Out for a Boxing day walk to get some air and start burning  those Christmas calories off. Despite the dull damp weather I had loads of fun getting to grips with the new lens. Loving the depth of field available with wide apertures and the details available with more light and greater sharpness. This branch shows the delicate structure of lichen lovely :)

The extra is of some great ivy roots reclaiming what once was the farm house wall and now nature is wiping out traces of mans endevours here. Another of another depth of field pay with bull rushes in the pond.
