International Woman of Mystery

She has an apartment in Mayfair, a loft in Manhattan and a Parisian pied-à-terre
And a place in Greenwich Village - but she's very rarely there
She plays roulette at Monte Carlo
And piano at Carnegie Hall
She's danced with princes in nightclubs
And with waiters at the Beaux Arts ball

She reads Chekov in the original Russian
And Homer in the original Greek
She gets a card from the Queen at Christmas
And a telegram from the White House each week

She drives a Jenson-Healy
And a Cadillac and a Jag
That she keeps in New York City
She believes in flying the flag

She's a woman of many disguises
And no-one knows her name
She has half a dozen passports
But only the photos are the same

She's an International Woman of Mystery
But the only mystery I see
Is what an International Woman of Mystery
Sees in unmysterious me
