Morning Mist, Loch Riddon

After days and days of rain and wind this morning there was an interlude.  

Only an interlude, alas, because already there are severe weather warnings in place for the our part of the West of Scotland , forecasting gales on Tuesday and rain on Wednesday (the latter already  flagged up as a "be aware" amber alert) .

But when I looked out of the bedroom window this morning the sun was just beginning to  illuminate the hillside across the loch.   Half an hour later there were little clouds of mist rising up and turning orange in the sunlight. 

We even managed to get some of the outside chores don for  the first time in a fortnight.
