Wound up in Wexford

Caves

Our driver took us on a wonderful route from Tafraoute.

We stopped off to see various things, including an old Agadir or Kasbah.  These are fortified grain stores, each family has a little storage room and there is a boss family that looks after it.

From there we pulled off the main road to see some caves, as featured in my blip.  The position on the map is a total guess.  I picked this photo as it shows the natural erosion pattern that is typical of the region.  Eventually we arrived in Tata, where we had a wonderful pizza for lunch.

Then onwards, eventually arriving in a small village just outside Tissint.  We had understood that we were staying the night in tents, but for some reason currently not clear to us, we were in a small, family run guest house.  They cooked a wonderful evening meal.  But there was, of course, no wi-fi, it was jolly cold, so we retired to bed early.  The lighting was such that we were unable to read in bed, so we had a really early night - undoubtedly very good for us.

Sadly, the weather was much duller than it has been, but I still ended up with a plethora of photos to choose from.
