Flooding

Thankfully a brighter and dry day here in Glasgow.  Some roads like this one are flooded right across.

The BBC report that 500 soldiers have now been brought in to deal with "unprecedented" flooding in Yorkshire and Lancashire.

In other news, my sister dropped by briefly this afternoon, before heading off to the rehearsal. Great excitement, nails French polished. Less than 24 hours to the next family wedding.
