Hazy evening sunshine

Yet another warm dry day up here on the Isle of Skye. Trouble is that because the weather is so appalling elsewhere very few visitors seem prepared to drive through the poor weather to get to our good.

It may well be one of our driest summers for many years, yet it remains comparatively quiet at present. Here I stood at the top of Drumuie and photographed the view to the south east over Portree, Loch Portree and Penifiler on the far side.
