WATTLE......

... or after a great deal of research the closest I can find from on our walk this afternoon we found this "sickle wattle"? 

Looked super in the the dull afternoon light, and with just sooooo many acacia wattle varieties, trusting we have it right. Have a look here?

Yet another reason for the survival of Blip..... education!

Also took this not very good shot at all, as in extras, of a wonderful looking little variety of finch??

Probably need to go back and hope it gives me more than just a "fleeting stop" to get a better shot.
