York floods

The River Ouse is the highest I have ever seen it. Helicopters are flying overhead and there is an Army presence in the city. The city is not navigable by the inner ringroad. Buses are diverted. Even the telephone exchange at Stonebow has been affected and this has caused the ATM machines to fail. I could take photographs but not buy a coffee because I only had 57p. David Cameron is in York today, perhaps he could help (That is - buy me a coffee and pledge money to build more flood barriers)
