Star Wars!!

After seeing the latest "Star Wars" movie and also acquiring more "X-Wing Models" for not only Christmas but his birthday too, my youngest and I decided to have a game of the fore-mentioned miniatures.

Its a strategy game in the style of "War-hammer", where every ship has different strengths and weaknesses!!.

Today I was a "Rebel!!" and with the Millennium Falcon - one of his newer acquirement's - what could possibly go wrong!! Surely this time the imperials would be defeated!!

No!!

Apparently, Jonathan was "studying" Imperial "X-Wing" strategies online and would you believe it, I was defeated!!

This is a little mock up from the classic scene from "A New Hope" (the original Star Wars), where Darth Vader and his 2 minions are chasing down Luke Skywalker in a vain attempt to stop him destroying the Death Star....but unbeknownst to them, the Millennium Falcon is bearing down on them, thwarting their chances of stopping Luke!!

Ahh great memories!! 

And also as this week will disappear faster than the Death Star, this will probably be my entry for this weeks/monthly theme for the WBC, which is simply looking for shots that capture the essence of Depth of Field!!
