Sunspot

Even on a sunny day, our garden is shady in the winter. The sun hardly rises above the neighbouring trees and next door house. I visited a neighbour and their house and garden were bathed in sunshine and the contrast when I came home was striking. So when I spotted this primula lit by a lone spot of sunlight, it had to be my blipfoto for today.
We have very many snowdrops showing now, and even daffodils appearing but not in flower. We went past Guildford Cathedral on Christmas Day and there were swathes of yellow daffodils in flower. Very strange!
