Bakers & Larners Food Hall...

...my idea of heaven. Bakers & Larners department store in Holt has a long history. The property at 8 Market Place, Holt, was built in 1631, the date set in the west gable. It has continuously served the area as a shop since 1730 or thereabouts, with the involvement of the Baker family beginning in the 1760's or 1770's.  The food hall is just wonderful and a great place to wander around, I have heard it is considered the Fortnum & Masons of Norfolk.
Dear friend B. has come to visit for a few days, and after her journey down from Milton Keynes, and following a reviving lunch and a cup of tea, we wandered into town to have a look round.
As always, we took our trusty cameras and the Christmas lights looked so pretty on the front of the food hall, I just couldn't resist a photo.
