Out

Into Edinburgh today for some Turkish meze in the company of some friends from my old place of work, followed by a post lunch snifter in the Guildford Arms. Had I known what was to follow I'd have downed a few more.

Meeting up with Mrs Rex at the Gyle Centre we eventually emerged to discover the MGF had a flat tyre. After struggling to budge any of the wheel nuts I had to admit defeat and call the RAC for assistance. In my defence I have to point out that he struggled to get them off too, but he managed it. With the spare tyre on the car, Mrs Rex gingerly drove us back home at a sedate 50mph.

We eventually arrived home just in time for 'Match of the Day' so the day wasn't a complete disaster.
