The North Sea

Although the North Sea looks pretty wild in this picture Bamburgh was unseasonably mild today. It was worth the drive for T's first glimpse of the castle - an unprompted wow. The sand dunes were bathed in winter sunshine, long shadows, fresh air, blue skies, football, chasing around, the dog behaved, we had a pub lunch...can you tell we got more sleep last night (see blip from the 27th).
