Las Setas

The magnificent and absurdly whacky Las Setas, plonked on top of the busy Plaza de la Encarnacion for apparently no reason whatsoever.

We've just scratched the surface of Seville in the one day available to us, ascertaining that we would like to come back for a longer period of time. It really is a very busy city - both with locals and with (far too many) tourists - the latter very much around the cathedral, the Alcazar and the Barrio Santa Cruz where we are staying.

We particularly enjoyed the walk along the river and I was jealous of people doing a bike tour. We'll certainly do one of those when we come back.

Just about to go out and forage for some dinner.
