Burrator Reservoir

...good day for a walk with my friend Jon around Burrator reservoir on Dartmoor and up on to Sheepstor.  Today is a fine dry day.  Tomorrow is forecast to be very wet.  As a consequence, the whole world is out here today!  Afterwards, a pub lunch at The Oak in the quaint village of Meavy where the pub is one of the few in the country owned by the parish council.  Nearby is an oak tree reputed to be 500 years old on the village green.  The pub is so full that we have to sit and eat outside.  The main photo is of the reservoir with Sheepstor in the background.  The extras are a view of the reservoir from Sheepstor and a miniature fairytale pond we came across.
