Looking towards Maiden Moor from Causey Pike

Forecast for today was pretty good, so set off for Buttermere, to find Newlands Valley closed (although they have now re-opened the Whinlatter Pass again after a couple of months.

A bit of last minute replanning let me park near Causey Pike and climb that, followed by Scar crags, Sail, Crag Hill and Outerside. Four new Wainwright's - total now 117.

The weather wasn't quite as forecast, with curtains of rain all morning, and 60 - 70mph winds all day, I was planning to do Grassmoor as well, but it was simply too dangerous!

Still managed some crepusculars, although with the weather as it was, I didn't take more that about 25 photos all day.
