Sunderland Docks

Looking across Seaham bay to the mouth of the Wear and into the docks.  The vessels in dock appear to be dredgers and supply ships.  Marinefinder isn't more specific as most have their AIS transponders turned off.

The rough sea is the result of Storm Frank cringeingly named by a civil servant somewhere - what next?  Storm Betty?  Oo-errr.  (Yes I know the next one is actually a female beginning with G - Godzilla?)


Why can't they just say we have gale force winds and heavy rain?  Why all the drama and theatrical carp?  Junvenile stuff.
