Always fascinating

We had a late start and decided to visit the National Portrait Gallery with its special exhibition about Alberto Giacometti. It was interesting but I wouldn't recommend it without hesitation. Mainly paintings from him and less sculptures, in rather dark colours. Well, that's my personal opinion.

Best idea of the day was to go up to the third floor where the restaurant is located. A gorgeous place with beautiful views over London. Just a short queue, but we had to learn, that all tables were pre-booked for the whole day ... except 2 seats at the bar :-)

Walking back to Waterloo station we had this wonderful and always amazing view of London.
