Race for Kev

I am a member of Ilford A.C, and there are about 60 of us who compete at Road and Cross country runs.
I'm not that good, but I enjoy it and it keeps me fit.
On Jan 8th 2015 our fastest runner 'Kevin Newell' had a serious accident at work, and as a result he will have to spend the rest of his days in a care home.
Today the club held a 10 mile cross country race which will now be held annually in his honour and to race funds for his care home.
I'm pleased to say it was very well attended and a nice amount was raised.
