The Joys of Motoring being a Dad?

I have a stinking cold so I go to bed early. Phone goes off at 3:00 am. Daughter in distress. Fortunately her friend's family put her up for [the rest of] the night morning.

RAC called this morning. They were apparently very busy trying to sort out water-damaged cars in Hebden Bridge. New battery fitted. Harriet is £95 lighter.
