Bowler hat, mustache, and lemon soap

So for Christmas, my godson gets me this joycean t-shirt with text from Ulysses creating the design. Not only does the manipulation of text allow for a depiction of Leopold Bloom's bowler and mustache (although Bloom would never have worn his hat tilted that rakishly!) but Chapter 5 begins somewhere under his mustache. Around the mid-drift is the scene where Bloom enters a chemist and buys a bar of lemon soap. He then unwittingly states the name of the winning horse in the afternoon's Ascot Gold Cup. Bowler hats and lemon soap and pages and pages of text combine in a simple Xmas gift--a great way to end the year.
