Magnitude 7

We had a magnitude 7 earthquake last night. Had gone to bed already when Nettie (the dog) started pacing in the room. I sent her back to bed and then the bed went rocking and rattling for a few minutes.
Today, all that's left is pictures hanging crooked on the wall.
I do feel for the people in Christchurch though, they had to put up with this for months, including all the damage, lives lost, homes lost. And it's still not finished there.
