A Bridge Too Far

Flooding on the main road again meant we had to go the long and very muddy way round to get some shopping.  Apparently, the water level had dropped about three feet since yesterday, so I missed the opportunity for a more dramatic blip then!

Fortunately no houses seem to be affected, only fields and roads (see extras), but other areas haven't fared so well not far from here, so we are very lucky.

My new broadband connection has behaved itself for a couple of days now, in spite of the weather, so I have risked connecting up my new computer and all seems to be going well so far.  Result:-)
