Silvester

I like the feel of this Blip.  There's something between-worlds about it - a place where all things are possible and none of the usual rules apply.

I always did let my imagination get the better of me, and I think that's no bad thing.

I spent a fair bit of today reading (and adding hundreds of words to my vocabulary book), it was quite taxing but hugely interesting.  A part of what I read was about the Winter Garden that Ludwig II built on the roof of the Residenz in München - it was pulled down after his death and it is such a shame.  It must have looked wonderful.

The again, most of what Ludwig built was pretty amazing - have a look at Linderhof, Neuschwanstein & Herrenchiemsee - they came from an awe-inspiring imagination and one I can only applaud.

Anyway, it's Silvester.  Hogmanay in Scotland.  New Year's Eve everywhere else. I hope you and yours have a fantastic evening and that 2016 is full of peace and happiness for you all.
