Soup made

After a couple of hours repairing this morning, I returned home to collect delivery of the new(ish) car.  In the afternoon, I went out for a spin and was very pleased with it.  Before that, I made a good quantity of turkey soup which will do for tomorrow and a few more days.  I shall meet up with some friends this evening but will be home well before the clock strikes twelve.  Whether I stay up to see in the New Year will depend on whether there is anything good on the television and whether I can keep my eyes open.
