A Trip to Whitby.

We decided to blow the festive cobwebs away with a trip to Whitby. We were lucky with the tide so walked along the beach to the harbour.

The Magpie Cafe was doing a roaring trade in fish and chips with people still queuing at 2:30. Everywhere was busy but decided to make an assault on the 199 steps up to the abbey.

St.Mary's church (the church in this photograph)had a display of Christmas trees all donated by schools,businesses and individuals. I like the Christmas Tree made out of law books. Could be something to do with having a lawyer for a husband and son!

Can't believe I have completed two years of Photographs!
