Kilda's first swim

They left around 1am and we put a very pooped dog to bed. She lasted till 6am before wanting to go out. Came in and slept with us for a bit before getting too hungry.
Went to the gardens for a walk while J slept in a bit. Almost too much as J wanted to do the New Years day swim at Portie with the Wild Ones. Once J had finished her swim Kilda ran across the beach to see her and then was carried back into the sea for her first ever swim. She did very well on the short swim back to the beach.
Came home and we all had a 2 hour sleep. Quiet day in but I have managed to turn off the beep on the house alarm that tells you when an outside door has opened. Kilda has learned that that means someone has left or come back and gets excited when she hears it. Not a good thing when we want to start leaving her.
 

Happy New Year all. Not sure what this year will bring. Will we all still be blipping, hope so.
