Happy New Year and Happy Birthday

Happy New Year everyone. It's Mr EAnn's birthday. We have headed off to Cambridge to do Christmas part 3 with daughter no 1.
A lovely day. Stopped off for lunch in Stamford on the way here and had a proper birthday tea with cake and candles. Can you work out how old he is? Bear in mind that his daughter is a mathematician :-)
