Please Pan the Panner

Please feel free to pan the panner.

I had it all set up to catch them running directly across me, I had practiced my smooth panning action (this raised a few eyebrows up the park - people suddenly changed direction and avoided me!)

I was certain I would freeze their motion and get the background lovely and blurry, but... damn dogs veered left.

But somehow I quite like the effect.

I feel that is somehow expresses and captures the joy of freedom; in essence it symbolises the juxtaposition of the playfullness of the domestic dog versus the instincts of it's wild pack wolf ancestors!

So there!
