Philly to NYC: Day 5

We awoke this morning with the intention of completing our Philly tour with a Rocky Balboa tribute and the Philly Cheesesteak challenge. We first found the Rocky Steps (Philadelphia Museum of Art) so that I could run up them and then pose at the top as Sly did in the Rocky movies. You can see me atop the steps with both arms in the air in one pic. Another shows the footprints where he stood. I also took a pic with his statue before leaving for the cheesesteak challenge. Before leaving for NYC we had lunch at Geno's and Pat's. We ordered one provolone wit, fries and soda at Pat's and then one whiz wit and cheese fries at Geno's. Pat's may be the original, but Geno's was hands down the best all around with fresh bread, higher quality meat, and better fries. Not shown is a pic of Erin and me in front of the AMOR statue. We made it to EWR around 4 and to NY Penn via NJ Transit by 530. Given the increased traffic for NYE and long taxi lines, we walked with our luggage from Madison Square Garden to Marriott Marquis Times Square (11+ blocks) where we plan to stay for the next 3 nights. Lastly, we logged 13,000 steps today.
