New Tricks

A ghastly day.

Coffee Club is cancelled due to weather conditions but I shall venture out to buy yarn for my crochet habit.

I was given a book and some colouful hooks for Christmas in order to steer me away from the Granny square pattern. I am learning a new stitch - Chevron. It is dead easy and shall be mastered in a few rows. 

Number one son gave us a fright last night & we ended up in Chippenham hospital with him. He had an allergic reaction to something. His face and lips swelled up and his body was red, bumpy and itchy. It frightened the living daylights out of me. All appears well now!
