Suffer the little children...

At this time of year when children are at the heart of the celebrations it seems timely to remember Thomas Corum, founder of the Foundling Hospital. He was a navigator who, returning to London from a voyage was shocked to see the plight of orphaned children on the streets of the capital. This memorial is in his home town of Lyme Regis, Dorset.
